Rocky Mount Preparatory School is a tuition-free, public charter school founded in 1997. Located in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, we serve over 1000 scholars in grades K–12.

From the Desk of Our Head of School

As we embark upon a new year, I am filled with joy and anticipation of what the future holds for our scholars at Rocky Mount Prep. Planning and preparation has intensified as our educators renew our commitment to position our scholars for success. Throughout our journey, although we may meet challenges, I am confident in the courage within our RMP team to overcome them all.

We will face each day with a positive attitude. We will support each other with kindness and compassion. We will give 150% of ourselves to empowering our scholars, embracing our community, and becoming exceptional leaders. We will be Jaguar Strong!

RMP is designed and destined to win! I am honored to serve our scholars, their families, our faculty, and our staff. Our administration is here to support each of you. Let’s make it an amazing year!
