Rocky Mount Preparatory School is a tuition-free, public charter school founded in 1997. Located in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, we serve over 1000 scholars in grades K–12.

Welcome back to a new school year filled with promise and potential! As we embark on this journey together, I would like to share a few thoughts centered around four guiding principles: empathy, effort, excellence, and evolution.
Empathy will continue to be the foundation of our community, fostering understanding and connection among us all. Through genuine effort, both in academics and personal growth, we will achieve goals that reflect our dedication and resilience. Excellence is not just a standard but a mindset we cultivate daily, striving to be our best selves in every endeavor. And as we embrace evolution, we recognize that growth comes from adapting, learning, and transforming through new experiences.

Middle School Parent Academy Night
Parent Academy Night is Wednesday, November 13 from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. in the Secondary Media Center.
